Great Showing at 48 Hour Film Challenge
Another Film Challenge under our belt and this year it was a 48 hour competition run by a film group out of Burlington Ontario that set the stage. This was a bit different for us since we have been used to the 24 hour competition held in Hamilton over the last few years.

Here I am on the red carpet at the Burlington 48 Hour Film Challenge June 5, 2015.
In truth, we definitely prefer having the extra day to put a film together and like our previous experiences, it was intense but a great time and we're very proud of our film entitled 'Oliver & Penelope'.
At the screening on June 5th, 2015 we received wonderful feedback with many attendees choosing our film among the best entrees. Needless to say we were disappointed not to have won the challenge, but the judges decided to go in a different direction. However for me, although accolades and awards are nice for sure, it's about putting together a great film. And considering this one was done in 48 hours I think we did a fantastic job!
Great DGC Writing Intensive Course
I just completed a fantastic DGC TV Writing course in Toronto. It was a great experience meeting new writers and industry people. I love it when I'm learning more and honing in my skills as a writer.
Chic TV Series Getting Good Feedback
Industry people from both Toronto and LA are commenting on how much they like the pilot episode of CHIC TV Series. Although I feel there is still some tweaking and fine tuning to do on the pilot, not to mention developing the storylines and character arcs, it's great to know we are on the right track. It would be amazing to sell the show and watch it come to life.
Story Editor M. Thompson; A Pleasure to Work With
I've been waiting a long time to get to this point. And Editor Madeline Thompson has been immensely helpful in getting me closer to a script that's ready to be submitted. After years of honing my script writing skills and learning the craft, it feels amazing to be told that I am ready to dive into new waters known as 'the selling of the spec script'. Although I am always learning new things and will continue to do so throughout my career as a screenwriter, I feel that my time has come to introduce Hollywood to my work and let them know there's a new writing talent on the block.
